Non-Profit Organizations

In 2025, we were instrumental in establishing two non-profit associations: No Shutdown Pay for Congress and No Shutdown Pay for Congress Foundation. The organizations were created to advance constitutional, legislative, and pledge-based reforms that prohibit members of Congress from receiving pay and backpay during government shutdowns. No Shutdown Pay for Congress seeks to align Congress with the consequences borne by federal workers, military families, and the American public when Congress fails to fulfill its duty to fund the government.

National Association of Nonsmokers and National Nonsmokers Foundation.
In 1990, the USA Companies founded two non-profit associations: the National Association of Nonsmokers (“NANS”), and the National Nonsmokers Foundation. The organizations were founded to: (1) bring awareness of the hazards of second hand tobacco smoke; and (2) raise funds for lobbying for legislation to protect nonsmokers from second hand tobacco smoke. The organizations merged into another nonsmoking organization. (See “About us”).
